Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Perform welding and fitting tasks on various materials including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper settings and techniques are used.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and resolve any issues that arise.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in welding techniques.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a welding program is preferred.
• Proven experience as a welder/fitter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficient in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid welding certification is a plus.
