We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY, 40223. As a Welder/Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

2nd shift, 2:30pm-1am, M-Thurs

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Perform welding and fitting tasks using various techniques
• Assemble and fit metal components, ensuring precise alignment and secure connections.
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve fabrication issues.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

• Welding Setups for Production
• Blueprint Reading
