Job Description

JCI welder/fabricators have a knack for safety, quality and team work. If these sound like characteristics that describe you, JCI is where you should be! At JCI, we take pride in developing talent. OR- if you're an experienced welder, bored with seeing the same plans all the time, we can offer variety! Our welders start at $20-$25/hr depending on experience and the scale currently goes to $30.81- so if opportunity is what you want, that is what you will get at JCI!

As a welder/fabricator you will:

• Cut and prepare surfaces or components, lay out, position, fit, tack, weld, and finish a variety of parts or products following prescribed methods and specifications
• Handle and position heavy components using an overhead crane, clamps, jigs, and fixtures.
• Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead positions.
• Other duties as assigned

Successful candidates should have a High school diploma. Must be able to pass JCI weld test. Must be able to read, analyze and interpret detail drawings. Experience in forklift, overhead crane and rigging is required.
