Job Description

Job Details:

• Capable of fabricating and erecting assigned tasks using various types of metals, stainless steel, and galvanized black iron ranging from angle iron, channel iron, and round flat stock etc.
• Capable of performing the 3 major types of welding: TIG welding; ARC welding; MIG welding.
• Perform close tolerance to meet layout print specifications using calipers, micrometers, etc. as needed.
• Set up and operate welding fabricating equipment to perform jobs, blueprints, sketches, or verbal orders.
• Examine parts for defects and measure parts to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Perform machining with lathe broaching tools, drilling tapping, and other machining functions.
• Maintain tools and equipment in a safe clean and orderly manner including shop tools, welding, cutting gauges and welding equipment.
• Follow company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations. Performs other job related duties as assigned.
• Must be able to safely operate hand power tools shop equipment to include metal shear metal brake drill press metal lathe plasma cutter oxy acetylene torch sanders etc.
• Able to weld in multiple positions flat vertical horizontal or overhead.
• Must be capable of reading blueprints specifications sketches work orders plan layout assembly and welding operations.
• Must be able to work weekends

This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
