Responsibilities

  • Perform welding tasks on various materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Inspect and test welded surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance welding skills and techniques.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in welding preferred.
  • Proven experience as a welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid welding certification is a plus.
