Staffworks Group is now hiring an experienced Shop Structural Welder for a full-time welding position in Providence, RI. Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $25 to $30 (based on welding experience & skill level)
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Location: Providence, Rhode Island

Welder Job Responsibilities

• Weld and assemble various metal structures and custom fabrication projects
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding schematics
• Fabricate staircases, handrails, platforms, and other structural components
• Operate MIG, TIG, and Fluxcore welding equipment
• Measure, cut, and shape metal with precision
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fabrication shop

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional welding experience (MIG, TIG, Stick preferred)
• Strong background in metal fabrication or manufacturing
• Proven ability to read complex blueprints and layout drawings
• Skilled in fitting, cutting, grinding, and finishing metals
• Knowledge of shop safety and welding best practices
• Physically capable of lifting and handling heavy materials

Important: This is not an entry-level welding job. Minimum 5 years of welding experience is required. Applicants who do not meet this qualification will not be considered.
