Job Description

Summary

The Welder is responsible for performing MIG/TIG welding and fabrication of metal components according to blueprints, specifications, and production requirements. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using MIG and TIG processes as per job specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols
• Plan and lay out welds on structural components and assemblies
• Set up welding equipment, including adjusting current, voltage, and materials
• Select appropriate electrodes and filler metals based on materials and job needs
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and fitting prior to welding
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and accuracy
• Follow all welding safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality goals

Required Skills & Qualifications
