Job Overview:

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing both MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding on a variety of metals and components. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals as required.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and structural standards.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and assemble materials according to specifications.
  • Grind, polish, and finish welded components as needed.
  • Maintain welding equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with fabrication, production, and quality teams to meet production goals.
  • Identify and report equipment issues, material defects, or safety concerns.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of welding experience.
  • Proficiency in both MIG and TIG welding processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices.
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to welding fumes, noise, heat, and moving equipment.

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed

Pay: Based on experience

Must be able to successfully demonstrate MIG and TIG welding proficiency during a pre-employment weld test.
