Summary: Fabricate daily production quantities of metal parts by tasks such as cutting, drilling, grinding and welding.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly/tacking and or welding using prescribed fixtures and proper work procedures

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Or one to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience; Minimum of 6 months welding experience at a moderate production pace
Language Skills:
Ability to read and interpret English documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers; Ability to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s; Ability to convert basic fractions into decimals; Ability to use a calculator
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to identify nonconforming parts to determine pass/fail criteria
Other Qualifications:
Valid Tennessee driver’s license; must be able to obtain a Powered Industrial Truck Certification
