Welder – Manufacturing / Fabrication

Location: Westchase, FL (33626)

Pay:$18–$25/hr, based on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, **7:30 AM – 4:00 PMNo overtime **

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join a manufacturing and fabrication team. The ideal candidate has experience with **MIG welding

**, **TIG welding

**, or **stick welding

**, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, or stick welding depending on project needs

• Read and interpret **blueprints

  **, drawings, and measurements

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components

• Set up welding equipment and adjust settings as needed

• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity

• Grind, cut, and prep materials for welding

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals

Requirements

• Previous welding experience required

• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings

• Strong understanding of welding techniques, tools, and materials

• Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and stand for long periods

• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding certifications (MIG/TIG/Stick)

• Experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication

• Ability to operate grinders, saws, and other shop tools

• Basic knowledge of metal finishing and inspection
