Requirements

Pate Rate:  $21 - $28 / hour 

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:  

Perform pressure retaining welds on standard and custom ASME vessels and piping on a routine basis. 

ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

1. Layout and weld parts according to construction drawings 
2. Layout, fit up, root weld and final weldments for standard pressure vessels and piping 
3. Perform welding operations in all positions as needed 
4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment as needed 
5. Follow all safe working practices 
6. Perform other duties as assigned 

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications and Required Experience): 

1. High School Diploma or GED 
2. Fulton 2G GMAW Welding Certification 
3. Ability to read complex mechanical drawings 
4. Fulton Safety Training (Crane, Tow Motor, Fire, etc) 
5. Fulton Intermediate MIG Welding Class or Welding Certifications Above for a Minimum of 90 Hours 
6. Associated Fulton Product Training

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

1. Heavy Work – Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds frequently, using hoist and crane. 
2. Frequent standing and walking.
3. Bending/Stooping – Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist. Full motion of the body, lower  extremities and back muscles.
4. Respirator - Must be able to use a respirator (when needed) and may be exposed to dust and fumes.
