Description
- Reads blueprints/ drawings
- Takes/ reads measurements
- Operates machinery such as grinders, band saws, etc.
- Loads metals parts/ tubing into fixtures
- Aligns parts using calipers, rulers, clamps, etc.
- Ensures proper fitment of parts
- Tack welds parts together
- MIG & TIG welds parts – seeks assistance from expert level welders when needed
- Assembles most shape ports
- Assembles more complicated parts such as stepped headers/ tube forming
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have at least 5 years or more consistent on the job (MIG & TIG) welding experience Required
- Must have excellent math skills
- Experience using saws, welder machines, tools, etc.
- Knowledge of PPE (face shields, welder helmets, gloves, steel toes, curtains, etc)
- Must have a commitment to excellent quality standards.
- Must have a commitment to Safety.
- Must be able to read and speak English fluently.
- Must possess a helpful, friendly & positive attitude.
- High School diploma/ GED required
- Experience welding stainless steel
- Welding Certification Program (AWS) a plus
- Periodic lifting (up to 50lbs.)
- Sustained periods of standing
- Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm (Overtime may be required on Fridays)
