Job Description

This position is located on an offshore oil platform in Federal waters off the coast of southern California.

1. Welding, assembling, and lubricating pipes.
2. Installing and securing pipes.
3. Testing functionality of hydraulic and other systems.
4. Repairing malfunctions, breakages, or leaks.
5. Collaborating with other workers to produce finished constructions

Must be willing and able to work a 14 on 14 off schedule, consisting of 12 hour work shifts, living on the platform during your entire hitch in shared living quarters. 

Desire to and understanding of how to work safe, follow all rules and regulations, and wear/use appropriate safety equipment at all times.

 Able to lift heavy equipment and tools.  Able to follow directions and work as a part of a team or individually. 

Able to pass swing rope certification to safely arrive to and from the platform and crew boat. 

Working outdoors in all weather.
