Description
Role
Welding fabricators will cut, join and shape metal and other materials, using heat and a range of tools. Required for projects of all sizes, to do anything from fixing to building.
Requirements
- Prior experience welding, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, including MIG welding TIG welding, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals.
- Ability to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift heavy equipment.
- Prepares setup, preventative maintenance, cleaning and operation of assigned area and prepares material for the next step in production.
- Reads drawings and takes measurements to plan layout and procedures.
- Determines and executes appropriate welding method based on specifications.
- Tests and inspects welded surfaces to ensure quality production.
Requirements
Qualifications
- AWS Certified Welder certification (May not be required)
- High school diploma, GED, trade school, or equivalent
- 2 years of previous experience or equivalent combination of professional education and experience
- Must be proficient in blueprint reading and tack welding techniques
- Must have previous welding experience.
- Must demonstrate proficiency by completing a welding test prior to employment
- Training in machine safety and quality awareness preferred

This is a Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm workday. Occasionally work weekends
Benefits after 60 days, 401K and Vacation after 1 year.
Salary range $17-$23 Depending on Experience and certification.
