Job Overview:

Welder / Fabricator

Location: Fargo, ND

Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Starting Wage: $23/hour, with higher pay available based on experience

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our fabrication team in Fargo, ND. This position is responsible for manufacturing custom components, products, and equipment based on detailed shop drawings and specifications.

The ideal candidate will have strong welding and fabrication skills, be comfortable working from design drawings, and take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret shop drawings and accurately lay out materials for fabrication.
  • Manufacture components, products, and equipment through welding and other assembly methods.
  • Collaborate with CAD drafters to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce production costs.
  • Organize and store materials effectively to maximize shop and yard space.
  • Assist field crews with loading and unloading job materials.
  • Safely operate mobile equipment as needed to perform daily job responsibilities.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and environmental policies.
  • Fabricate custom parts and equipment according to detailed design drawings and specifications.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must be a qualified welder.
  • Previous welding and fabrication experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • General knowledge of construction or manufacturing environments is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs or ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed.
  • Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
