Welder- 1st shift

ATACO, a metal stamper and fabricator located in Cedarburg, WI, is seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team! While your primary responsibility will be welding, you may occasionally support other areas depending on business needs. Our work environment includes GMAW fixtured welding, GTAW, and robotic welding.

In this role, you will experience a diverse range of day-to-day tasks as we manufacture a wide variety of parts. We offer a predictable work schedule from Monday to Thursday, with occasional mandatory overtime on Fridays (max two Fridays per month).

Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
• Fit, align, weld, and fabricate large, heavy structures, weldments, components, and assemblies
• Utilize jigs and holding fixtures, when available, to locate and position materials
• Install and repair various equipment and components
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance

Qualifications:

• Two years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
• Ability to read weld prints and schematics
• Capability to manage physical workload

Compensation:

Well-qualified candidates are eligible for $21.00 - $30.00 per hour + $1.00 attendance bonus + Company Gainshare.

Four ten-hour shifts per week:

1st shift: 4am-2pm Monday-Thursday
