Ozaukee, Washington, and northern Milwaukee county manufacturing companies looking for Welder/Fabricators!
Key duties and responsibilities may include:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools
- Perform welding using MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Cored processes as required
- Measure, cut, and fit metal parts to specifications
- Inspect welded joints for quality, strength, and accuracy
- Repair or rework welds as needed to meet quality standards
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment
- Work with various materials such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years+ proven experience in welding and/or fabrication.
- Must be able to pass weld test and math test.
- Ability to read a tape measure, blueprints/schematics, and understand welding symbols.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
