**MIG/TIG Welder

**We are seeking an experienced **MIG/TIG Welder

** to join a manufacturing team. This position

requires hands-on experience welding a variety of metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing both MIG and TIG welding while maintaining high standards for weld quality, accuracy, and safety.Responsibilities- Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, carbon steel, and other metals.

• Fabricate and weld components according to work orders, drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Set up and adjust welding equipment based on material type and job requirements.
• Prepare materials for welding, including measuring, cutting, fitting, grinding, and cleaning.
• Inspect completed welds for proper penetration, appearance, dimensions, and overall quality.
• Use grinders, saws, hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment as needed.
• Identify welding defects and make necessary corrections or repairs.
• Follow established production procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications- Previous professional MIG and TIG welding experience required.

• Experience welding stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel strongly preferred.
• Ability to properly set up and operate MIG and TIG welding equipment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, measurements, and welding specifications.
• Experience with fabrication, fitting, grinding, and metal preparation preferred.
• Ability to use measuring tools and basic fabrication equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and weld quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Experience- Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience.

• Experience producing clean, high-quality TIG welds on stainless steel and aluminum.
• Experience working with different material thicknesses and weld position

s.

• Welding certifications are a plus but not required unless otherwise specified.
