Job Description

Position:  Welder

Classification: Non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).

Summary:  Fabrication and welding of many different varieties to include but not limited to basic structural work, pipe welding, MIG, TIG and stick welding.

Reports to: Lead Welder

Qualifications:  2 years experience of welding to include certificate.  Knowledge of fabrication and working knowledge of machinery and use of industry power tools.

Physical Demands:  Ability to lift 75lbs and use heavy power tools for extended periods of time.

Work Environment:  shop and occasionally field 

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Use safe practices during operations

-Understand potential hazards, how to find potential hazards and communicate those with immediate supervisor
