BASX INC is Looking for an Experienced Welder

Job Location:    BasX Solutions Redmond Headquarters - Redmond, OR

Salary Range:    $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly

Description:

• Able to weld MIG (TIG and Aluminum a plus).Experience with 1G 2F 2G 3G and 4G welding procedures
• Weld metal components together to fabricate or repair products according to layouts, blueprints, or work orders, using a variety of arc and gas welding equipment.
• Cut metal using torch and following diagrams or sketches.
• Perform related tasks, such as plasma cutting and grinding.
• Repair broken or cracked parts, fill holes and increase size of metal parts.
• Position and clamp together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.
• Experience with .035, .045 hard wire MIG welding.
• Experience with sheet metal, galvanized steel and aluminum
• Able to read a tape measure
• Able to read blueprints
• Must have knowledge of tools of the trade
• Able to work independently and with others
• May operate the following: Shear, Chop Saw, Cutoff Saw, Drill, Die Grinder, Notcher, Drill Press, Grinder, Bandsaw, Forklift, etc.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Work well in a team-orientated environment
• The ideal candidate will also have great attention to detail
• Experience using a variety of welding/cutting equipment and procedures
• Can convert fractions to decimals and read a tape measure
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screen
• 1-3 years of welding experience - preferred
