Job Description

Penmac Staffing is hiring a MIG Welder for a full-time, temp-to-hire manufacturing position in the Independence, KS area. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with MIG welding experience who enjoy hands-on fabrication work in a fast-paced production environment.

**Schedule: **

Day Shift, Monday–Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

Nights Monday – Thursday, 4:30 pm-3:00 am

Pay: Starting at $20.67 Based on Experience

Requirements for the MIG Welder:

• MIG welding experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering prints
• Basic math and measuring skillsIndustrial welding experience or welding training preferred
• Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check

MIG Welder Responsibilities:

• Read prints to determine materials and setup
• Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy
• Remove slag, spatter, and imperfections
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Perform other duties as assigned
