Welder

MityLite is an award-winning manufacturer of professionally designed, highly durable event furniture. Trusted worldwide, MityLite products are found primarily in banquet, meeting, and event venues in the hospitality, education, government, and church markets. We are currently seeking production welders to join our team. 

Job Description:

• Weld thin wall tube in both steel and aluminum.
• Work with other production machines and equipment as part of process.
• Frequent, bending, reaching, twisting, and grasping.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

• Ability to Mig weld thin wall steel and aluminum in multiple positions.
  • Weld Test Required
• Ability to work in fast paced repetitive production environment.
• Ability to meet benchmark speeds and quality standards
• Ability to obey and meet safety standards
• Moderate lifting up to 40 pounds

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle or feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
