Express is seeking Welders for Metal Fabrication Companies in New Kensington!

We are currently hiring experienced Welders for multiple opportunities in the New Kensington area. These positions offer the chance to work with a variety of metal fabrication projects, with both first and second shift opportunities available. Candidates with both MIG and TIG welding experience are encouraged to apply!

SHIFT:

First Shift: 7:30am-3:30pm

Second Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm

Job Duties of the Welder:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on fabricated metal components and assemblies

• Set up welding equipment and prepare materials for welding

• Read and follow blueprints, welding specifications, and work instructions

• Fit, position, and weld metal components according to specifications

• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and proper appearance

• Grind, clean, and prepare welded surfaces as needed

• Maintain welding equipment and a clean, organized work area

• Follow all safety procedures and proper welding practices

• Perform other fabrication and production duties as assigned

Qualifications of the Welder:

• Previous welding experience required

• MIG and TIG welding experience strongly preferred

• Ability to successfully complete a welding test

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing/fabrication environment

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to bend, lift, twist, crouch, etc.
