Express Employment Professionals in Lynchburg is seeking a Welder for one of its well-established clients in the Lynchburg area. This full-time role is a great fit for someone with hands-on welding experience who takes pride in quality work, values safety, and works well in a fast-paced production setting. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components according to specifications while helping support daily production needs. A strong candidate will bring dependable attendance, reliable transportation, and a team-focused work ethic.

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Previous welding experience required, including MIG, TIG, or Stick welding, based on production needs

• Ability to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and a tape measure accurately

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift

• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

• Team-first attitude and strong work ethic

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on metal components based on blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions

• Set up welding machines, adjust settings, and maintain equipment

• Fabricate, cut, and assemble metal parts for production needs

• Inspect finished welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity

• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Assist with general warehouse and production tasks as needed

• Work in a fast-paced warehouse and production environment with exposure to heat, noise, and metal fabrication equipment

Pay and Schedule

$18 to $27 an hour, depending on experience

Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts

Full-time with opportunities for overtime
