SUMMARY OF POSITION: 

Responsible for setting up and TIG welding of various aluminum parts. Set up and braze/silver solder various copper parts to support production as well as fixture and tooling development.

• Operate a variety of pneumatic or electric power finishing tools such as but not limited to orbital sander, DA sander, and die grinders.
• Read blueprints, tooling instructions, and standard charts for specifications.
• Install dowel pins into parts and subassemblies using blueprints and shop routers to determine size, quantity, and location.
• Determine quantity of hardware required for each work order and kit for installation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED equivalent, or Technical School.
• 3-5 years of experience in T.I.G. welding required.
• General understanding of AMS-STD 
• 3-5 years of experience and interpreting product drawings required.
• 1-2 years of leak detection experience preferred.
