Description

Westside Personnel is seeking skilled Welders for a tubing fabrication company serving the automotive, ATV/UTV, and outdoor power equipment industries. The ideal candidate will have experience performing MIG and/or TIG welding on metal components, reading blueprints, maintaining quality standards, and working safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates should be dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality welds that meet customer specifications.

Shift Schedule

1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

3rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on metal tubing and fabricated components according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication.
  • Set up, adjust, and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Grind, clean, and finish welded parts as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on welding equipment.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a MIG and/or TIG Welder in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
  • Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metal fabrication, and quality standards.
  • Experience using measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges.
  • Ability to identify weld defects and make necessary corrections.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
