Welder/Millwright

• Availability on 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift (8 hour days)
• $39 - $41 p/h + Overtime
• Manufacturing / Recycling facility
• Chapel Glen, IN (West Indianapolis, near Stout Field)
• **Must *be able to pass a* Stick Welding Test (SMAW)**
• Must have Mechanical Maintenance / Millwright ability

Key Responsibilities as the Stick Welder/Millwright:

• Perform corrective and preventative mechanical maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems using technical documentation, schematics, and drawings.
• Stick Welding and fabrication across the facility
• Install new plant machinery and perform mechanical and fabrication work as needed.
• Repair and maintain pumps, piping systems, gearboxes, conveyors, and other process equipment.
• Perform steel fabrication, repairs, and modifications to support plant operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company and site-specific safety programs.
• Promote and enforce environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards across all activities.
• Support other maintenance and production needs as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of recent industrial maintenance, millwright, or machine repair experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Must pass an **S.M.A.W. (stick welding) **test; strong knowledge of metal properties and safe welding practices.
• Ability to use computer systems for maintenance documentation or work orders (CMMS experience a plus).
