**Welder

**

*Temp to perm position in Haverhill, MA.

Compensation: $26-$32/hr *

Do you want to join a technology company with a diverse product portfolio? Do you have 3-10 years’ experience in production welding? We need a results-oriented, focused individual to join our welding department in Haverhill, MA.

Job Summary:

• Experienced precision TIG Welder- Stainless Steel (GTAW-Pulse Welding, Manual and Semi-automatic)
• Welding a variety of vacuum vessels from 4" to 20" in diameter
• Welding of flange weldments and small sub-assemblies, plumbing, tees, small flanges and fittings
• Welding of cylinders from 1" to 3"
• Thicknesses ranging from thin wall to 1/2"
• TIG Welding within close tolerances
• Electro-mechanical assembly required
• This position may, on occasion, involve other related duties not specified in this job description assigned by the supervisor or management

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of TIG (GTAW) welding experience or technical welding training required
• Experience welding in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
• Ability to read and work from assembly drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of ASME standards; certification preferred or ability to obtain certification
• Experience with orbital welding and welding lathes is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow work instructions
• Lean manufacturing and SAP experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs.
