We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic, growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read and interpret drawings and prints.
This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manner.
Duties
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using various welding techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
- Operate welding equipment to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Perform quality inspections to ensure welds meet specifications and standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete tasks
- Collaborate with team members to plan and prioritize work assignments
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and perform basic maintenance as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with knowledge of various welding techniques including FCAW and Stick welding.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts, cranes, and press brake machines is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in machining or related fields is a plus but not required.
