Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder with experience in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes to join our team. The ideal candidate will be capable of reading blueprints, fabricating metal components, and producing high-quality welds while maintaining safety and production standards. This position requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble metal components
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and structural integrity
• Operate welding equipment, grinders, saws, and fabrication tools safely
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures at all times
• Repair and rework defective welds or fabricated parts as needed
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
• Assist with general fabrication and shop duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
• Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Welding certifications are a plus
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record required

Preferred Skills

• Fabrication and layout experience
• Knowledge of welding safety standards and procedures
• Ability to work overtime when needed
