Job Description

Express is seeking a Welder for a precision manufacturing company in Export, PA!

Put your welding skills to work in a precision manufacturing environment producing custom metal components and assemblies. This role involves setting up and operating welding equipment, working from blueprints and job instructions, and inspecting finished work to ensure it meets quality standards.

Shift:

• Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM

Job Duties of the Welder:

• Set up and operate welding equipment, including robotic arc welders, according to job specifications.
• Perform welding operations using applicable processes, which may include TIG, MIG, stick, and carbon welding.
• Read and follow blueprints, technical drawings, job travelers, and customer specifications.
• Inspect welds and work in progress to ensure quality standards are met.
• Monitor welding equipment, gauges, and readouts to maintain proper operation.
• Safely position materials and workpieces using appropriate material-handling equipment.
• Perform secondary finishing operations, such as grinding, deburring, wire brushing, and cleaning parts.
• Record production quantities, work time, and quality inspection results accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and report any safety concerns.
• Assist with other manufacturing tasks as needed.

Qualifications of the Welder:

• Welding experience and familiarity with welding equipment and processes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and manufacturing instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new equipment and processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks as needed.
• Experience with robotic welding, material-handling equipment, or secondary metal-finishing operations is a plus.
