Responsibilities

  • Perform welding tasks on various materials
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment, ensuring proper settings and safety measures are in place.
  • Inspect finished welds for quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance welding skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional welding certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience as a welder in a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in a welding environment.

You should be proficient in:

  • Tape Measure Reading
  • Welding Setups for Production
  • Blueprint Reading
