About This Opportunity

Our welding team works in a climate-controlled, air-conditioned manufacturing facility equipped with ergonomic lift tables, company-provided welding helmets, and the tools needed to produce high-quality custom products.

As a Welder, you'll manufacture custom heat exchangers used around the world. The majority of our welding is stainless steel with minimal grinding. You will have opportunities to work on a variety of projects while continuing to develop your craft. 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM Monday-Thursday ($1.00/hr Shift Differential Applies)

Job Responsibilities:

As a Welder at Super Radiator Coils, you will be part of a skilled team manufacturing custom heat exchangers and thermal solutions used in a wide range of industries around the world.

• TIG weld stainless steel and carbon steel components ranging from .035 wall tubing to heavy wall .375.
• Control heat input and prevent distortion
• Utilize work orders, drawings, and blueprints to assemble products according to specifications.
• Position, align, and secure components using fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools.
• Perform weld repairs and rework on non-conforming products as needed.
• Prepare materials and workpieces using grinders, drills, and other fabrication tools.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Follow all safety procedures, quality requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and support team success.

Requirements

Qualifications (Required):

• Welding certificate or formal training in TIG Welding
• Ability to read blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Ability to accurately use measuring devices.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Qualifications (Preferred):

• Technical degree, certificate, or formal training in Welding.
• Previous TIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience welding stainless steel.
