Welder - 2nd Shift
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have experience performing MIG, TIG, and resistance welding while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity. This position plays a critical role in fabricating, repairing, and assembling metal components according to engineering specifications and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Weld metal parts using MIG, TIG, Resistance Welding, Brazing, and other welding processes as required.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine weld layout, Critical to Quality (CTQ) characteristics, and product specifications.
- Perform thermal cutting, grinding, and finishing operations.
- Repair broken or cracked components, fill holes, and modify metal parts as needed.
- Position, fit, and clamp fabricated metal components prior to welding.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow ISO 9001 quality procedures and company safety guidelines.
- Meet production and quality expectations while maintaining attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Technical certificate in Welding or related field preferred; or
- 1-2 years related welding experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Experience with MIG and TIG welding required; resistance welding experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, fabrication practices, and quality standards.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, percentages, and interpretation of graphs.

- Ability to perform close visual inspection of welds and manufactured parts.
