JOB OPPORTUNITY

WELDER

Dept. 27 - Baker City Plant

1st & 2nd Shift

Reports to: Matthew Pleasant/Lucas Proebstel

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Perform welding operations on Tubular Welding products using appropriate jigs.

· Set machinery properly according to material requirements.

· Maintain the machine and perform other operations, as necessary.

· Ability to help in all areas of the department as needed. 

· Responsible for the assembly of product and data tracking.

· Responsible for quality and quantity of work, organization of work.

· Responsible for compliance with all documented procedures and employee handbook. 

· Responsible for performing routine Preventative Maintenance on associated equipment. 

· Responsible for safety, quality, and production with limited supervision. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

. Be able to read a tape measure.

. Basic mathematical ability.

. Position will require lifting 30 to 70 lbs. approximately 70% of the time.

. Ability to work towards continuous improvement of product quality and ISO 9001-2015

. Practice safe working habits and follow safety procedures, policy, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

. Lean experience preferred.
