Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
• Inspect welds for quality and adherence to specifications.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior welders as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding.
• Certification in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) or ability to be certified is required.
• Proven experience as a welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Familiarity with welding equipment and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
