Part-Time Web Press Operator

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, safety-focused Part-Time Web Press Operator to join our print production team. In this role, you’ll help produce high-quality printed materials on our web press machines, playing a key role in keeping our print operation running smoothly and efficiently. (Weekends)

What You’ll Do

• Operate web press equipment to produce newspapers, inserts, and other printed materials according to production schedules.

• Monitor press runs for quality and consistency—checking registration, ink levels, alignment, and print clarity.

• Perform regular maintenance on press equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement as needed.

• Set up press rolls and make adjustments during runs to minimize waste and downtime.

• Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs to keep press operations on track.

• Collaborate with the pressroom team to meet production deadlines safely and efficiently.

• Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience operating or assisting on a web press (Goss, Harris, or similar press experience is a plus).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn press setup and operation procedures.

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
