Job title: Waterjet Operator

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday; 2pm-12:30am -

$2 shift differential

Job Responsibilities:

•Set up and run waterjet cutting machines produce parts according to job orders and blueprints.

•Program machine controls using CAD/CAM or proprietary software to ensure accurate cutting paths.

•Monitor cutting parameters like water pressure, abrasive flow, and cutting speed to maintain quality and efficiency.

•Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, or laser scanners to verify tolerances.

•Perform routine maintenance, including changing abrasive media, cleaning nozzles, pump rebuilds and troubleshooting mechanical issues.

•Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and cutting sequences.

•Maintain a clean, safe workspace

•The operator will also be expected to run the press machines and other shop tasks depending on the workload.

Waterjet operating experience is required.
