This is a field role: the work happens at customer and job sites rather than at a single worksite, and you will be based within driving distance of the job location. Expect day trips to job sites, with most nights at home.

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Water & Mold Mitigation / Restoration Technician to assist with the cleanup and restoration of residential and commercial properties affected by water damage, mold, fire, smoke, and other disasters.
This is a physically demanding, hands-on position that involves traveling to different job sites, using hand and power tools, removing damaged materials, and cleaning properties following water, fire, or mold damage.
Candidates must have a valid North Carolina driver's license, reliable transportation, and be able to pass a criminal background check.
Perform water extraction, flood cleanup, and water damage mitigation.
Assist with mold remediation, containment, and cleanup.
Perform demolition and tear-out of damaged drywall, flooring, carpet, insulation, cabinets, and other building materials.
Clean and sanitize properties affected by water, mold, fire, smoke, and other damage.
Remove debris and damaged materials from residential and commercial properties.
Set up, operate, and move drying equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, and water extraction equipment.
Use common hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Move furniture, equipment, and materials as needed.
Follow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Travel between job sites and work as part of a restoration crew.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
Follow instructions from supervisors and complete assigned restoration tasks.
Must have a valid North Carolina driver's license.
Must have reliable transportation to travel to assigned job sites.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Able to perform physically demanding labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
Willing and able to work in dirty, wet, dusty, and unpleasant environments.
Comfortable working around water damage, mold, fire and smoke residue, strong odors, debris, and other challenging conditions while using appropriate PPE.
Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in any of the following areas is a plus:
Water mitigation or water damage restoration
Mold remediation or environmental cleanup
Fire and smoke damage restoration
Disaster restoration or emergency cleanup
Demolition, tear-out, or construction labor
Flood cleanup or water extraction
Residential or commercial restoration cleaning
General labor involving hand and power tools
Previous restoration experience is preferred but not required for candidates with strong hands-on experience, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn.

Candidates with experience in SERVPRO, ServiceMaster Restore, PuroClean, Paul Davis Restoration, BELFOR, Rainbow Restoration, demolition, construction, or disaster cleanup are strongly encouraged to apply.
