Now Hiring: Water/Wastewater Utility Tech TraineePay: $22/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunchExpress Employment Professionals is seeking a Water/Wastewater Utility Tech Trainee to assist with the construction, operation, and maintenance of water and sewer systems. This is an entry-level opportunity with training provided for candidates who are willing to learn.Responsibilities- Assist with water and sewer line repairs, replacements, and installations

• Install and replace water meters and service lines

• Dig ditches, shovel materials, and clear work sites

• Repair streets and maintain landscaping after utility work

• Operate and perform minor repairs on vehicles, machinery, and equipment

• Follow safety procedures and applicable regulations

• Respond professionally to customer questions and concerns

• Maintain work orders, reports, maps, and other records

• Participate in training and obtain required certifications

Please note: This position may require emergency callouts 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Work may involve uncomfortable conditions and potentially hazardous environments.Preferred BackgroundCandidates with experience or knowledge in the following areas are encouraged to apply:- Electrical panels and electrical fundamentals

• Construction or general labor

• Lockout/tagout procedures

• Fiber industry

• Gas industry

• Utilities or related fields

Requirements- High school diploma or GED

• No prior experience required

• Must be willing to learn and complete required training

• Must obtain Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection System D-level certifications within two years

• Must obtain a Class B CDL with tanker endorsement within two years

• Must be able to complete required safety training and certifications, including CPR/First Aid and confined-space training
