Wastewater Technician

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Wastewater Technician to assist with the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of wastewater treatment equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and be comfortable troubleshooting pumps, electrical control cabinets, and related equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and systems
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose pumps, motors, and control cabinets
• Use a multimeter to test electrical components and assist with diagnosing equipment issues
• Identify mechanical and electrical problems and perform basic troubleshooting
• Monitor equipment to ensure systems are operating properly
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance concerns
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Complete additional maintenance and wastewater-related duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills required
• Must know how to properly use and understand a multimeter
• Experience diagnosing control cabinets, pumps, motors, or similar industrial equipment
• Ability to identify basic mechanical and electrical issues
• Previous wastewater, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or mechanical experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required
