Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment machinery and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Collect and analyze samples to monitor water quality and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance, and compliance data.
• Assist in the training of new operators and staff on equipment and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in wastewater treatment preferred.
• Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably in a wastewater or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and machinery.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
