Job Description
The Wastewater Treatment Technician job is a core component for our workforce as one the of world’s largest steel producers. The Wastewater Technician operates equipment and performs tasks that support the various production and service units. As a Wastewater Technician you are required for an Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) Wastewater Operator License Class A or higher classification.
Job Responsibilities:
IDEM Wastewater Operator License Class A or Higher classification
Handles, transports, and processes product and materials
Work with and around materials that may be heavy, or sharp, and hazardous chemicals.
Ability to perform manual labor and lift more than 50lbs.
Assists in inspecting and performing maintenance on equipment.
Work in variousenvironmental conditions can be hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, and noisy.
Must be capable of working on elevated platforms.
Must be capable of operating mobile equipment.
