Wash Rack Attendant / Equipment Washer

Pay Rate: $18-20.00 per hour

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Wash Rack Attendant. This position is responsible for cleaning and washing delivery trucks, trailers, and other equipment to maintain a clean, professional, and safe fleet. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, performing physical labor, and following established safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean delivery trucks, trailers, and other company equipment.
• Operate wash rack equipment, hoses, pressure washers, and cleaning tools.
• Remove dirt, grease, debris, and buildup from vehicles and equipment.
• Clean vehicle exteriors and other assigned areas as needed.
• Inspect equipment after washing to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized wash bay and surrounding work areas.
• Follow all company safety procedures when handling cleaning products and operating equipment.
• Assist with general cleaning and other maintenance duties as assigned.
• Work efficiently to ensure vehicles are cleaned and ready for service.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding equipment issues or maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general labor, industrial cleaning, truck washing, or maintenance preferred.
• Ability to operate pressure washers and basic cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
