Job Summary/Objective of Job
We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Truck Parts Warranty Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warranty claims, inspecting parts, and ensuring compliance with warranty policies. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy-duty truck parts and excellent problem-solving skills.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Warranty Claims Management:
- Process and manage warranty claims for heavy-duty truck parts.
- Review and verify the validity of warranty claims.
- Communicate with customers and suppliersregardingwarranty issues.
- Inspect returned parts todeterminethe cause of failure.
- Document findings and prepare detailed reports.
- Coordinate with the quality control team toidentifyrecurring issues.
- Provide technical support andassistanceto customersregardingwarranty claims.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues ina timelyand professional manner.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintainaccuraterecords of all warranty claims and inspections.
- Prepare andsubmitwarranty claim reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with all warranty policies and procedures.
- Identifyopportunities for process improvements in warranty management.
- Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on industry standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall service quality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent;additionaltechnical certification or training in automotive or heavy-duty truck parts is a plus.
- Proven experience in warranty managementora related field, preferably in the heavy-duty truck parts industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communicationand customer service skills.
- Proficiencyin warranty management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment:
- This positionoperatesin a manufacturing environment.
- The role requires standing forlong periods, lifting heavy parts, and working with various tools and machinery.

Physical Demands
- Lifting and Moving: Ability to lift and move heavy items, up to 50 lbs.

- Operating Equipment: Safe operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Manual Dexterity: Handling small parts and tools with precision.
