Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor 1st Shift (6:30am-3:30pm)

Accountability: This Position Reports to the Warehouse Manager
Responsibilities:
• Ensure all warehouse workflow metrics are maintained
• Write and revise documented Inventory, Shipping and Receiving procedures
• Complete performance appraisals
• document safety, quality, productivity and workflow failures Troubleshoot and resolve daily issues associated with current workflow practices
• Properly communicate all significant workflow and employee issues to the Warehouse Manager
• Ensure employee adherence to company policies and procedures
• Manage orders due for shipment so that customer orders ship on time
• Communicate needs for finished goods to the Production Supervisors
• Supervise the timely processing of work orders
• Provide hands-on backup to all personnel
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g. forklift, scissor lift, pallet jack properly, etc.) safely in a limited space environment
• Respond to requests from Sales involving ‘drop in’ orders
• Respond to MRR-CAPA issues
• Collect and report data on department performance metrics
• Develop, document and maintain Order Picking/Packing/Shipping best practices
• Train new hires and cross-train existing personnel
Requirements:
• High School Graduate, Technical Certifications a plus
• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
• 1+ year of experience working with an ERP software programs
• Supervisory experience, preferred
• Must possesses a valid driver’s license
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, production documents, and engineering drawings
• Ability to write instructions and reports and present information to groups of people
• Must have knowledge of workplace safety, knowledge of OSHA requirements, a plus
Additional Requirements:
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions and convey them to employees in English
• Ability to safely operating a forklift and other material handling equipment
• Must be able to perform basic mathematic computations
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to push-pull a maximum of 1200 lbs. with a manual rolling assist
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, sit, and ladder-climb for more than 1 hour at a time
• Must be able to work at heights of up to 20 feet
• Must possess a strong attention to detail
• Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
