We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Wire Cutter to support our wire warehouse in San Leandro, CA A Wire Cutter is responsible for cutting electrical wire as specified by customer orders. This includes operating a forklift, and assisting in receiving and staging wire for order fulfillment. A Wire Cutter should be detail oriented, a good communicator and provide a positive, professional demeanor towards all customers, vendors and employees. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Reviews ticket to ensure wire order can be cut from a specific location.
• Utilize Wemco machine as needed
• Measure and cut wire to the proper length in accordance with order specifications. 
• Prepare wire order for delivery to customer 
• Assist with will call   
• Staging orders in correct location
• Assist in stock management, stock materials in designated location using a RF gun. 
• Break down reels and pallets 
• Clean warehouse daily including sweeping, picking up and emptying trash.
• May complete custom metal projects, including cutting custom metal products such as galvanized/ocal nipples, MC whips, and Durablock 

Responsibilities:       

• Operates forklift : drives forklift to put wire in proper location.
• Occasionally deliver wire to the front counter, transfer area or dispatch.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None                                   

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent                                                      

Certificates & Licenses: Forklift Certification preferred

Other Skills and Abilities: Detail oriented, good communications and organizational skills. Team player.
