Job Description

Pay Rate: $20.00-23.00/hr + based on experience!

Shift: Monday- Friday- 6am-2pm + On Call hours* $110 if called in or Overtime pay if more than 4 hours!

Company Overview: We serve a wide range of industries including power generation, steel and other metals, coal, shale, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, paper and pulp, wastewater and freshwater, aggregate and cement, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and other manufacturing sectors.

This is an on-site position, located in Butler.

Job Description: This is a small shop within a larger facility. Broken machines and engines are brought into this shop when they need maintenance or overall repair and need to be sent out to contracted suppliers/technicians. Even though the machines are rarely fixed on site, mechanical and electrical knowledge is required to enable accurate communication with vendors and to help with the write up and tracking of the information accurately. This job has a lot of administrative responsibilities that are completed on a computer. In addition, this person will also assist with the loading and unloading of machines and engines and must be able to lift up to 25-50 pounds at a time.

Schedule: 6am-2pm, Monday-Friday, Must be available after hours on evenings and weekends. Rotating on call hours over weekends. Bonus and Overtime hours paid when called in!

This is a direct hire position with a strong benefit package!

Experience:

• Must have experience operating a forktruck, a crane and be able to load and unload trucks and move pallets.

• Must have strong writing, reading and basic math skills because this person will be responsible for completing daily reports.

• Experience doing inventory and documenting this in a computer system.

• Experience working with MMS/Excel is preferred.

• Electrical knowledge is a plus

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, be able to stand, bend and reach throughout the day.

• OSHA Training provided but must have experience with all of the above.

• Steel toed boots required

• Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
