Position Summary...

Walmart is expanding with its third company-owned milk processing facility to serve over 750 stores across Texas and surrounding states. This state-of-the-art facility will produce high-quality milk products under Great Value and Member’s Mark, using milk sourced primarily from Texas dairy farmers. As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will oversee a team of 20+ associates in a refrigerated warehouse environment, leveraging cutting-edge technology to ensure smooth, efficient, and effective operations.

What you'll do...

Ensure Compliance and Operational Efficiency
Ensure the area of responsibility is compliant with logistics, company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives by developing, distributing, and/or maintaining procedures and supporting documentation. Prepare, review, and/or analyze business reports, and utilize data to identify operational improvements, for example, in production, quality, and safety. Complete and Prioritize Work Assignments
Complete and prioritize work assignments by leveraging policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; identifying deadlines and expectations; carrying out tasks; communicating progress and related updates; determining and recommending solutions for improvement opportunities; addressing and resolving associate, customer, and supplier concerns; and adapting to changes, difficulties, and feedback. Assist in Resolving Day-to-Day Challenges
Assist in resolving day-to-day associate challenges by actively communicating with production managers, monitoring QA and inventory capacities, addressing problem freight issues, and utilizing the ARS system to manage workflows effectively. Provide subject matter expertise, coordinate with relevant department contacts, and involve other managers as needed to help identify and resolve concerns efficiently. Manage Associates and Team Development
Manage associates in the area of responsibility by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing actionable feedback. Support and model company policies and procedures by teaching and modeling desired behaviors. Identify training and development needs, and make thoughtful recommendations regarding hiring, promotions, coaching, and evaluations. Coordinate and Oversee Projects and Assignments
Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments, such as developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, and effectively communicating goals and objectives. Hold associates and teams accountable by measuring progress, identifying improvement opportunities, staying adaptable, and promoting continuous learning. Provide Supervision and Growth Opportunities
Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and delegating work. The annual salary range for this position is $65,500.00 - $98,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
