Position: Warehouse Supervisor
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Classification: Exempt
Working Hours: Full Time, Shifts may vary, Overtime as needed
Description:
Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workloads to warehouse workers. Receive, unpack, pack, load, issue, store and deliver materials, textbooks, supplies or equipment; complete packing slips for shipments as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities: Including, but not limited to, the following:
- Oversees warehouse operations.
- Uses common warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Hires and manages warehouse associates.
- Organizes and leads warehouse trainings.
- Follows the standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Sets the shift schedule and daily assignments.
- Develops and improves warehouse processes and procedures.
- Supervises packaging, receiving, and shipping activities.
- Completes packaging, receiving, and shipping tasks as needed.
- Tracks in-bound and out-bound inventory.
- Orders new supplies and equipment.
- Collaborates with the customer service team and other departments.
- Escalates issues to managers and recommends potential solutions.
- Ensures the team follows company policies and procedures.
- Makes sure the team adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations.

- Demonstrates project management and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience:
- high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management is preferred.
- Must complete OSHA 30-hour training within the first three months of employment.
- At least two years of warehouse associate experience is required and two years of management experience is preferred.
